A 21-week refurbishment of a lodge dating from 1807 in Elmers End, converting it into a childcare facility for N Family Club while keeping the building’s character.
Structural works, temporary propping and full fire protection within the historic structure.
External walls upgraded thermally and damp proofing installed throughout.
New underground drainage, asbestos removal and roof repairs.
Full M&E installation and interior fit-out to N Family’s specification.
With homes and businesses on both sides, deliveries, access and noise were planned to limit disruption.
The lodge is now in use as a nursery, keeping a local historic building in use.
